What do you need to succeed in the MA African Studies?

English

The MA African Studies programme at Ghent University is taught in English. In order to follow the programme, you are required to have a sufficient level of knowledge to be able to understand, speak, read, and write English at an academic level (B2 of the European Reference Framework).

Independent attitude

The MA African Studies programme at Ghent University requires an independent attitude of students. All students are entitled to the same level of assistance and supervision, and are in principle expected to take care of administrative requirements and study contents on an independent basis.
